VIDEO INSTALLATION
Cardiff, 2021
An immersive/interactive video installation that explores my experience with the changes in my mental health during the Covid lockdown. The installation features a series of videos and abstract designs inspired by various incidents that occurred during the pandemic, highlighting the changes in communication we experienced throughout the year. Through the use of high-frequency sounds, the installation captures the frustration felt at the beginning of the lockdown and gradually transitions to a more calming atmosphere, accompanied by visually soothing imagery. The installation also includes a bubble wrap floor, inviting visitors to jump and release tension, similar to the feeling we had when the lockdown finally ended.
